Thanksgiving '18 is behind us and we now look upon Christmas approaching. Thoughts of decorations and presents fill our mind. The thrill excites us, scares us... what if I don't buy the 'right' presents? What if? What if? My thrill turns into fear. Then the Bible scripture I read this morning during devotions fills my mind... "Fear is the opposite of Love." Thank you God for reminding me...I could have spent my entire day in fear... instead I'm filled with comfort & joy.

ReplyDeleteMy heart is heavy today. I have just learned my baby sister is going blind... Oh my... what can I do? Pray. I have been praying (& praying and weeping) ever since I learned of her horrendous news. Praying. And, hoping.... Maybe the doctors are wrong. Jesus is the Physician of all physicians.
